'Let us sit bent, but talk straight'. - Bedouin wisdom

Every decade of our life is a milestone and brings new challenges, goals and opportunities. Every life transition- success, failure, illness, divorce, redundancy or retirement, requires us to unpack and repack our backpacks. Periodically we need to check our maps, set new compass settings, review, restore and renew our lives.

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and create a new ending. Your epitaph is already half written - you can decide now what legacy you’ll leave behind.

‘Stop at every oasis. The more you stop, the further you go’ - Bedouin wisdom. If you’re at a crossroads in your life - you need to stop, take time out and take a good hard look at your life, get more clarity, focus and alignment with your values, create your LifeMAPLegacy, then Lengthen Your Stride and Walk Your Talk.

If you’re ready to take a deep look into your life so far and desire to explore the greatest frontier yet to be explored - the frontier between your ears, and have an adventure doing it, then our safari’s in Kenya and Egypt are just what the doctor ordered..

A personal 21 day LifeMAPLegacy Expedition is not a trip but a vision quest for people who want to take a fresh look at the world and themselves through others eyes. This journey where the signposts and fences are nonexistent and where the new worlds we see reveal parts of ourselves that have been buried or that we never knew existed.

These personal LifeMAPLegacy journeys, aim to provide an opportunity to immerse yourself in another world. It’s an opportunity to experience time and life learning about ‘ancient ways and wisdom for modern and anxious days’.

For a quick insight into ‘ancient ways and wisdom for modern and anxious days’. Take a look at the second video clip here

It means unlearning and relearning. It takes courage to embrace wilderness and a new culture with the curiosity and acceptance of youth - to allow your heart, mind and soul to travel together. It means being nonjudgmental and going into a new environment knowing you are reliant on a foreign culture and celebrating their diversity - not as being strange but simply seeing them as fellow human beings and being willing to learn.

It means being willing to sacrifice certain comforts and inconvenience in order to feel as they feel - to take a path least traveled. It means exploring places that are wild and beyond western cultural norms. It means traveling lightly and realising how little you need.

It means leaving your western culture behind in order to catch an often disturbing glimpse and sense of your values. It means seeking authentic and real experiences. It means traveling back to the natural rhythm of nature and slowing down to a more peaceful pace and being prepared find yourself.

It can also be an opportunity to share time with those you may have neglected while climbing the ladder of success.

Disclaimer: We wish to make it abundantly clear - We do not provide mainstream nor alternative ‘therapy counseling’ in any form whatsoever. The reputed ‘theraputic’ benefits of our journeys are derived purely from: gaining focus, clarity and alignment, by getting down on paper in a unique way - your past, present and future. Other benefits are derived from nature, diverse cultural dialogue, personal introspection, a willingness to accept personal responsibility for your life, respect for others, and a daily routine of walking, clean air, healthy food and herbs, sunshine, rest and drinking copious quantities of clean water.

The rationale and inspiration for these journeys is based on my biggest mistake - Read more
