timeline:

Day 1

Arrive at Sharm el Sheikh airport where we meet you and transfer you to Dahab. Check into your room then meet for dinner on the sea front in a bohemian style café.

Dahab D

Day 2

Relax in Dahab. Swim or chill out at the sea front or in town, then after lunch meet for a briefing with your team members and guide. In the evening enjoy dinner, shisha and coffee at a beach front rooftop café.

Day 3

After an early breakfast transfer to St. Catherine - learn to ride camels and star gaze in the evening with an 8" Meade LX90GP Schmidt Cassegrain telescope. Spend the night at a Bedouin camp in the desert.

St. Catherine B L D

Day 4

After breakfast transfer by 4x4 to meet our Bedouin crew and camels at one of the highest sand dunes in Sinai. After lunch load up the camels and begin trekking to our first camp.

Day 5, 6 and 7 

Test your new camel skills as we continue our journey across vast sandy regions, sandstone mountain ranges, descending huge sand dunes, through narrow valleys, wide wadis, experiencing Bedouin culture and sleeping under the stars.

Day 8

We end our safari at one of the largest oases in Sinai for lunch where we are met by 4x4 and transferred back to Dahab. After a hot shower, relax, and in the evening enjoy dinner by the sea.

Day 9

After breakfast we head south of Dahab to swim and snorkel. There is an abundance of fish and coral with up to 30m of visibility underwater. We return to Dahab late afternoon and meet up for dinner at the best seafood restaurant in town.

Day 10

Today you have time to do some shopping then transfer to Sharm el Sheikh airport for your flight home.

Group Sizes

Minimum of 6, maximum of 12 people

£975 per person

Includes

All transfers, all accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner (BLD) tea, coffee, all bottled water, camel riding lessons, star gazing, Bedouin desert crew, camels and snorkel equipment.

Does not include

 Airfares, insurance, soft and alcoholic drinks.

  • Desert temperatures 28 - 48 C
  • Sea temperatures   23 - 27 C
  • Altitude from sea level to 2590m ( if you climb Mt. Sinai)
  • Good physical condition required
  • Camel riding, trekking, swimming,
  • Desert camping and hiking
